Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Small Space Sorted website and the private Pinterest API application used to manage the @smallspacesortednyc Pinterest account.

Summary

This is a single-operator project. The Pinterest application is a private tool used solely to publish and analyze content on Pinterest accounts that we own and operate. It is not offered to other people, it does not have other users, and it does not access any other Pinterest user's private data.

The Pinterest application

Whose data it accesses. Only the authenticated account holder's own data — that is, our own Pinterest account. The application does not request, receive, or process data belonging to other Pinterest users beyond what Pinterest makes publicly available to any visitor.

What it accesses.

• Our own boards and Pins, in order to create and schedule new Pins
• Analytics for our own Pins and account, in order to measure which content performs
• An OAuth access token issued by Pinterest to authorize the above

Where it is stored. All data is stored locally on hardware we control, in a local database file. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Nothing is stored on a third-party server or in a hosted database.

Who it is shared with. No one. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer Pinterest data to any third party. There are no analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or data brokers involved.

Retention. Pin and performance data is retained while the account is active, because measuring long-term performance is the point of collecting it. Access tokens are deleted when access is revoked. Any data can be deleted on request by contacting us.

Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time from Pinterest account settings, which immediately invalidates the token.

This website

This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts or fonts, and does not collect personal information from visitors. Standard web server request logs may be retained by the hosting provider.

Affiliate links

Some Pinterest content links to third-party retailers through affiliate programs, and we may earn a commission on purchases made through those links at no additional cost to you. Affiliate content is disclosed on the Pin. Once you follow a link to an external retailer, that retailer's own privacy policy governs any data they collect — we receive only aggregate commission reporting from the affiliate network and no personal information about you.

Children

This project is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
